Fashion Inspiration: Emma Watson

Hey Ya'll!

 

Emma Watson is maybe one of my favorite people in the whole wide world. And it is not just because she played my absolute favorite character, Hermione Granger. I love her for many reasons - She really seems like a sweet and down to earth person, she is pretty, a great actress, and she has great style. In the style department, she is a risk taker but even when she takes those risk, she always remains classy. Here are some of my favorite looks.

 

Her look from the Golden Globes 2014 is great! That color is amazing on her and its pants! I love this. Plus the pop of color of the shoe is pretty too.

 

Yellow/Gold is another color I love on Emma and this dress is adorable.

 

During the premier tour for the last Harry Potter Movie Emma seemed to favor dresses with a fitted bodice with a large A-line skirt. This one is beautiful and feminine.

 

Although a lot of people didn't like this dress since it looks a little undone, I still think the color is great and she looks amazing.

 

This was one of her more risky choices during the premier tour for the final Harry Potter film, but it makes her look fantastic. It is a twist on a little black dress and I love the feathers and the pop of red.

Another risky choice for Emma, but she comes across as classy and sexy instead of over exposed.

A Blair Waldorf Thanksgiving

Hey Y'all, it is confession time.

 

I once truly obsessed loved Gossip Girl. I read through all of the books while in high school and when I found out they were making it into a show, I moved on to that. Blair Waldorf was my hero. She was pretty, smart and little crazy. Well, more than a little. But I loved her, flaws and all. I started wearing headbands, tights, and I even got that orange phone she had in season 1. But about half way through the show, I stopped watching. *GASP* Life just got a little crazy, it was around the time I was getting married, so Gossip Girl and Blair fell to the side.

 

But don't worry, I will finish the series. I actually just started watching again, picking up around the time I left off and I am already sucked back into all their drama. It's great.

 

Earlier today I watched "Gaslit" from season 4. It is the Thanksgiving episode of the season, which makes it one of my favorites. I love the Thanksgiving episodes. Thanksgiving is Blair's favorite holiday (and mine), but unlike me, their Thanksgiving is served with a side of crazy.

 

My absolute favorite thing about each Gossip Girl Thanksgiving episode is Blair's fashion.

I am pretty much in love with with her dress from season 4, but I honestly love all of her looks. And if any one can pull of patterned tights it is Blair Waldorf - look at the bows in season 1 and the flowers in season 2!

MTV VMAs 2013 Fashion

NO SLEEP TILL BROOKLYN! Those commercials drove me crazy! Anyone else? 

Anyways, The MTV VMAs happened yesterday and once I got past the whole Miley Cyrus thing that happened (and her Hank Hill bum) I thought I'd write about my favorite and least favorite looks.

Danity Kane 

I loved Danity Kane and I am so happy to see them together! The black and white mix they wore was really cute and I love the all white dress, probably my favorite piece. Also, their makeup looks fresh and stunning. 

Allison Williams

I love this dress and her hair looks great pulled up. She looks classic and beautiful.

Holland Roden

Holland is one of my most favorite people and her outfit was incredible. I love that its different but is still feminine and beautiful. The cream color is great on her and the pop of red lips.

Katy Perry

It is no surprise that Katy wore animal print since she was performing "Roar" later that evening. I didn't love it, nor did I hate it. It was just there. 

Selena Gomez

Oh my goodness, this dress is awesome. Selena Gomez is a favorite of mine all the way from Wizards of Waverly Place. This color is so pretty and I love that its sexy but not to much. 

Shailene Woodley

Shailene showed off her new short hair and she looks great. Her skirt and top are okay to me. I don't love them, but I think she looks great. The colors are pretty on her and looks amazingly fit and tan! 

Taylor Swift

This dress is so sexy and Taylor looks great in it. I love the red lip, but her hair isn't my favorite, not sure why, but its just not doing it for me.

Miley Cyrus

WHAT? First of all, that performance. Again...What?! We get it, your grown up and you do what you want. Okay. And I mean, I actually kinda like that song. I dance to it on the way home after a long day. But that performance...sigh. 

Moving on, her red carpet outfit. Again....WHAT? The hair. I don't know. I'm all for short hair, and when she first cut it a while ago, I kinda liked it. But these knot things are just... no. And this outfit doesn't really flatter her except her abs and its not cute. 

Jaden and Willow Smith

I love them and think they are so cute. But these outfits aren't. They just look sloppy.
